About The Position

KenCrest is seeking a Supported I/DD Employment Specialist to support our Employment Program and its Leadership Team. Our Employment Department works to create a streamlined process to assist our consumers every step of the way as they navigate through the progression of finding and maintaining gainful employment. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and able to work one-on-one with individuals with disabilities, interested in a mobile and independent position, has experience with Self-Employment/Entrepreneurship or systematic Instruction and/or teaching.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience; License, Registration, and Insurance must match candidate's State of permanent residency.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field
Experience working with the I/DD population
ACRE Certification (otherwise completion is required within six (6) months of hire)
Experience with Self-Employment/Entrepreneurship or systematic Instruction and/or teaching
