About The Position

The Support Flex Associate is an hourly store role that supports sales and a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries accurately and efficiently and ensuring merchandise is ready for the sales floor. The associate also performs outbound merchandise activities, supports facilities maintenance, maintains back-of-house organization, and works with the merchandising team to place and sign products on the sales floor. The role contributes to store operations, inventory accuracy, merchandising, fulfillment, customer service, safety, and a positive team culture. The associate is expected to learn operational processes, follow store policies and procedures, and complete other tasks as assigned.

Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving personal goals, store objectives, and daily priorities.
Unload truck deliveries; sort cartons by department; process merchandise, remove plastic, and hang items as needed to prepare products for the sales floor.
Follow operational processes and procedures to enhance productivity.
Apply sensor tags and complete product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
Assist with facilities processes, including lighting and recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
Replenish supplies, support store recovery, maintain cleanliness, and organize tools, supplies, excess stock, fixtures, and equipment.
Use training tools and other resources, embrace feedback, and stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events.
Warmly acknowledge and assist customers, support the store during peak traffic and coverage periods, and complete other assigned tasks.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to support shortage control and minimize risk.
