About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is hiring a full-time Support CDL Driver in Omaha, Nebraska. The Support CDL Driver fills in on open, vacant, or temporarily unassigned routes to support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules based on business needs while maintaining safety, service, and delivery standards. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until completion of the route. Drivers may be expected to cover variable shifts. An estimated 10–15 hours of overtime are expected each week, and voluntary weekend overtime may be available as needed. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $24.00–$30.75 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for CDL Class-A drivers. The position involves assisting with morning freight sorting and truck loading, delivering and picking up freight from customers and shippers, and carrying out related route and vehicle duties. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid CDL Class A license or successfully complete the company-paid CDL training program, and be able to operate a manual transmission. A doubles/triples endorsement is required or must be obtainable. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be able to pass a DOT physical, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform tasks requiring a full range of motion. The role may involve working with hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license or successfully complete the company-paid CDL training program.
Be able to operate a manual transmission.
Possess or be able to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
Have good customer service and organizational skills.
Be able to pass a DOT physical.
Be able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform tasks requiring a full range of motion, including grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, and walking.
Be able to work with freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities
