Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematics calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Review Kiefel schedule and procure vinyl roll stock from the warehouse.
  • Stage vinyl roll stock in the ante-room, break down pallets, load roll stock onto buggies, and supply Kiefel machines with correct vinyl roll stock.
  • Operate pneumatic hoist, worksaver, and reach truck.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Operate grind and blender machines to convert vinyl trim scrap into reusable material for extruders.
  • Deliver various raw materials to the extrusion department and remove and stage finished goods.
  • Operate worksaver and hand jack.
  • Operate PITs to transfer Kiefel containers to Cell1 and maintain the Kiefel closet fleet in the Kiefel South warehouse.
  • Perform various required GMP cleaning duties.
  • Supply Kiefels with belt material and plastic liners.
  • Perform routine bag closet maintenance and other duties as assigned.
  • Load vinyl roll stock onto carts and stage behind designated Kiefels.
  • Supply department with Kiefel tubing.
  • Complete required documentation and labeling.
  • Maintain Ante Room per GMP requirements.
  • Remove scrap and perform housekeeping duties as required.
  • Operate grinder and blender.
  • Inspect ground trim for foreign material.
  • Release trim and transport to warehouse, perform documentation and clean area.
  • Provide belt material and tote pan liners to the area.
  • Support Safety, 6S, GMP, and TPM efforts in the area and report any of these or quality issues to Supervision as needed.
  • Conform to the North Cove dress code and safety procedures for this area.
  • Use safety knife, scissors, utility knife and snap gauge.
  • Assemble and disassemble boxes.
  • Operate worksaver, PITs, hand trucks and forklift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
