Material Handler, Receiving (7:00am-7:00pm)

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members and external vendors, suppliers, and customers.
- Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
- Possess or be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck Certification
- May be required to obtain Hazmat Training if not already completed
- Moderate computer skills required.
- Previous experience with a forklift
Nice To Haves
- CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level, preferred
- A high level of detail orientation and organizational skills to improve work area space
Responsibilities
- Pick raw materials and production supplies from warehouse either by hand, forklift or other means and deliver to the designated area
- By schedule or upon request, pick up materials or empty containers from production areas and transport to the warehouse or other department
- Using the Enterprise Resource Planning software (GME) to access and update inventory locations if necessary, along with utilize multiple other software systems to execute daily and weekly tasks
- Receives IPSO (Inter-Plant Shipping Orders) and prepares them for shipment
- Secure trailer while loading by blocking and locking out
- Load raw materials and production supplies into trailers and box trucks
- Pre-Op the forklift and change out batteries (if required)
- Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
- Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
- Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
