About The Position
GAF is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Intern to join the Residential Supply Planning team. This internship offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, gain valuable experience, and contribute to enhancing planning systems and processes. The intern will be involved in day-to-day planning operations and project-based assignments aimed at improving efficiency and service levels. GAF emphasizes a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and community support.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a team.
- Authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Majoring in Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or Business.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of day-to-day planning responsibilities for assigned areas of the business (manufacturing plant, distribution location, customer segment, sales geography, transportation lane).
- Process Improvements to assigned Supply Planning function(s) (Sales & Operations Planning, Raw Material Planning, Demand Planning, Distribution Replenishment Planning, SAP Integration).
- Engagement and integration with all areas within the Supply Chain as well as other departments within the company to bring projects and assignments to successful implementation and adoption.
