About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Planner to support production planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional coordination across manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams. This role ensures materials and production schedules align with customer demand while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or manufacturing operations
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work onsite in Grand Prairie, TX
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Strong sense of accountability and follow-through
- Consistently demonstrates professionalism and a positive company image with employees, customers, and vendors
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Alteryx or similar data tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor production schedules to ensure priorities are followed and deadlines are met
- Set and manage production work center output targets in coordination with manufacturing teams
- Identify and resolve production delays, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints
- Establish and maintain target inventory levels for production parts and raw materials
- Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing to ensure inventory alignment with production needs
- Monitor inventory performance and adjust planning parameters as needed
- Serve as a liaison between sales, purchasing, and production teams to balance demand and supply
- Ensure customer requirements are met while optimizing production efficiency and resource utilization
- Create and maintain reports on production status, performance, and efficiency metrics
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support decision-making through accurate forecasting and planning insights
