About The Position

The Supply Planner is responsible for overseeing production, managing inventory, and resolving production-related issues to ensure customer demands are met efficiently. This role involves close coordination between sales, purchasing, and production teams, as well as creating reports on production status and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years in production planning, or manufacturing roles
• Experience with material requirements planning
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong ability to analyze data, optimize processes, and manage complex schedules
• Excellent verbal and written skills for coordinating with various departments
• Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize and follow through on all tasks and projects, and meet pre-determined deadlines with limited supervision.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive company image to K&N co-workers, customers and vendors

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Alteryx or similar software a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee production to ensure production priority is followed
• Set target inventory for production parts and raw materials in coordination with manufacturing and purchasing, monitor adherence to targets
• Set production work center output targets in coordination with manufacturing
• Identify, analyze, and resolve production delays or bottlenecks
• Create reports on production status, performance, and efficiency for management
• Liaise between sales, purchasing, and production teams to meet customer demands while optimizing efficiency
