About The Position

Supply and Distribution Techs at TriHealth support hospital operations by managing supply-chain activities, inventorying and distributing supplies throughout the hospital, and transporting patient-care equipment and supplies between destinations. The role operates multiple computer systems and handheld computers used in Logistics Management and other areas of Supply Chain Management. The tech communicates with customers to resolve issues and serves as a resource to customers and staff on supply, equipment, and inventory matters.

The position is based at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is full-time, day shift, with rotating weekends and holidays. The job requires attention to detail and adherence to department policies and procedures. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–4 years of experience in a related field.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to communicate with customers to resolve issues.
• Ability to operate multiple computer systems and handheld computers.
• Ability to transport patient-care equipment and supplies and perform the physical activities described in the working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to customers and staff regarding supply, equipment, and inventory issues.
• Operate multiple computer systems and handheld computers for operational aspects of Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management.
• Communicate with customers to resolve problems.
• Pay close attention to all aspects of job duties related to supply chain management.
• Transport patient-care equipment and supplies to and from various destinations while following department policies and procedures.
• Inventory and distribute supplies throughout the hospital.
