About The Position

Northside Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Tech to receive, distribute, and store supplies and equipment delivered to the hospital accurately and promptly. The work includes documentation, communication, and a focus on customer service. The role requires thorough knowledge of processes across all shifts. The stated work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and weekend work is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of previous experience in material or supply inventory and/or distribution, purchasing, or a closely related field.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to operate a computerized inventory system.
• Ability to use a hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory.
• Ability to work independently and use judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve customer service issues, order discrepancies, and other issues arising in the performance of duties.

• Medical supply or related experience.
