Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Experience in (2) of the following: Experience with variety of contract types including Firm-Fixed Price Contracts, Cost type Contracts, Time and Material Contracts
  • Leading high stakes negotiations with suppliers
  • Negotiating Terms & Conditions with suppliers
  • Managing complex contracts at a variety of dollar values
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Possess an Active US Government Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • +4 years’ in supply chain management and/or procurement
  • Proficient use of MS Excel and Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
  • Works independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
  • Experience with analyzing complex problems and recommending solutions

Responsibilities

  • Handling supplier source selection, purchase order placement and administration.
  • Performing cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, and purchase order maintenance.
  • Interfacing with functional organizations and supplier management.
  • Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
  • Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, writing awards, and administering resulting subcontracts.
  • Negotiating and coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Procurement of build to principle.
