About The Position

Become part of the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Organization as a Subcontract Management Sr. You will be responsible for overall management of supplier contracts, schedule, and supplier performance. The position will be responsible of managing procurement activities related to assigned supplier accounts within the GSC Airframe Organization. Within this role, you will lead activities that include but not limited to: preparing requests for proposals, evaluating subcontractor proposals, developing cost/price analysis, negotiations, purchase order and contract creation/documentation, purchase order maintenance, managing contractual delivery schedules to align with program demands, and communicate across multi-functions and multi-level platforms. Some Domestic travel will be required for this position. Must be a US Citizen for this position. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • SAP Experience
  • Aero Industry Experience
  • Experience with schedule, cost, and performance responsibilities
  • Experience working with teams, reporting/communicating, providing deliverables and ensuring completion of those items
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, and PowerPoint advanced Excel
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 5 + years of professional experience
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Experience with multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated
  • Experience and understanding of Subcontract Program Management (SPM) best practices and tools
  • Solid subcontract management
  • Experience negotiating terms & conditions, and pricing
  • Complex problem solving skills
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to make business based decisions
  • Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry
  • Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues
  • Emerging Project/Program Management skills
  • Experience coaching and mentoring other less experienced personnel
  • Previous international procurement experience
