About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in St. Charles, MO. This position incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions, applying Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. The role involves analyzing complex material requirements, verifying and incorporating Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan, and determining part number attributes. The analyst will initiate, coordinate, and authorize the release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensuring on-time delivery, and documenting/resolving order delinquencies. Responsibilities also include reporting schedule adherence issues, developing and controlling inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels, analyzing and dispositioning excess inventories, and initiating audits. Additionally, the role involves developing and creating schedules for products and services, assisting in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals, and implementing and maintaining process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. This position works under general direction and is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with scheduling experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes
