About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in St. Charles, MO. This position incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. It applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. The role analyzes complex material requirements, verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan, and determines part number attributes. The analyst initiates, coordinates, and authorizes the release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensuring on-time delivery and documenting/resolving order delinquencies. Additionally, the position involves reporting schedule adherence issues, developing and controlling inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels, analyzing and dispositioning excess inventories, and initiating audits. The analyst also develops and creates schedules for products and services, assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals, and implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. This position works under general direction and is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with scheduling experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes
