About The Position

The Supply Chain Project Director is responsible for the coordination and delivery of project related sourcing, purchasing, expediting and material management in accordance with the plan, budget and schedule established for the project while also ensuring that the Supply Chain team adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Project Procedures and the Prime Contract. The Supply Chain Project Director (SCPD) shall be assigned (in a matrix fashion) to the Project Management Team (PMT) within the Business Unit, reporting to the Project Director, and shall have accountability to the Business Unit to represent, lead and coordinate the delivery of Supply Chain services. The SCPD shall have regular interface with Business Unit and customers as well as vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Experience in project related sourcing, purchasing, expediting and material management.
• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Project Procedures and Prime Contract.
• Ability to represent, lead and coordinate Supply Chain services.
• Experience in interfacing with Business Units, customers, vendors, suppliers and subcontractors.
