Supply Chain Operations Supervisor
About The Position
The Supervisor of Supply Chain Operations oversees the efficient receipt and distribution of supplies and equipment, patient care equipment tracking and management, and procedural cart standardization and execution across all MultiCare facilities on a 24/7 basis. The role manages inventory levels, ensures supply availability and efficient use of supply resources, and supervises, schedules, and evaluates employees to help the team meet its objectives. The position is based at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. The hospital is a 367-bed regional medical center with emergency, trauma, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, robotic surgery, cancer, birth center, and neonatal care services.
Requirements
- Associate degree, or two years of receiving and distribution experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least two years of materials management experience in distribution.
- Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a lead or supervisory role.

- Experience with a computerized inventory management program.
