About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager manages the flow of goods, resources, and information needed to ensure critical supply chain processes operate effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. The role implements strategies to optimize the supply chain and leads coordination with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions. The manager addresses bottlenecks and problem areas and monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor.
• One to three years of supervisory experience may be required.
• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management functions and department processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficiency in supply chain management and procurement software and tools.
• Ability to manage time and organize priorities.

Responsibilities

• Secure the materials and supplies needed to complete essential business functions.
• Manage the flow of goods, resources, and information in the supply chain to support effective operations and achievement of organizational goals and KPIs.
• Implement strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Design purchasing strategies that ensure constant inventory availability within budget.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
• Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks or problem areas.
• Monitor inventory levels daily and project which items and materials need replenishment.
• Monitor suppliers and service providers for quality and performance, and take corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement supply chain management best practices.
