About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager will lead the full supply chain operation for a growing manufacturer, including sourcing and supplier strategy, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and shipping. This highly visible leadership role focuses on building teams, driving efficiency, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring materials move effectively from purchasing through production. The position is contract-to-hire and fully onsite in Patterson, New York. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the stated pay range is $48.07–$57.69 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing supply chain teams.
• Strong background in planning, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relations.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical component purchasing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, inventory, stockroom, and shipping operations.
• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and procurement strategy.
• Drive inventory planning, demand forecasting, and material availability to support production goals.
• Improve supplier performance, reduce costs, and strengthen supply continuity.
• Oversee warehouse and logistics operations, including domestic and international shipments.
• Track KPIs, analyze supply chain data, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to support growth and operational excellence.
