About The Position

The Supply Chain Management Intern will join AWG’s Upper Midwest Division Support Center operations team for a 10-week summer internship. The intern will gain direct experience with supply chain management and learn how products move from suppliers to member retailers. The team supports timely, cost-effective product delivery by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing logistics.

The internship is scheduled for May 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027, and requires 40 hours per week. The intern may need to work overtime and must maintain regular, reliable attendance. The role is based at 6401 5th Avenue South, St. Cloud, Minnesota. The intern will travel to AWG’s Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for an end-of-year presentation to the executive leadership team. The work environment is business casual.

Requirements

• Major in Supply Chain Management.
• Have solid communication skills.
• Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Be willing to ask questions and able to follow up.
• Show initiative, enthusiasm for learning, and the ability to follow direction.
• Commit to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 10-week internship and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Travel to the AWG Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for an end-of-year presentation.

Nice To Haves

• Junior- or senior-level students are preferred.
