About The Position

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) function at Chevron is foundational to the company's progress, ensuring a reliable supply of materials, services, and logistics. P/SCM's vision is to be proactive partners, essential experts, and commercial stewards to enable Chevron to deliver the energy the world needs. This function collaborates within Chevron and with external companies to deliver goods and services safely, reliably, and at a competitive cost. The P/SCM function's strategic processes include Category Management, Contracting, Strategic Sourcing, Market Intelligence, Procurement Operations, Materials Management, Logistics, and Supplier Diversity/Local Content. The P/SCM Development Program (PSCMDP) Interns will gain a better understanding of Chevron’s business, people, and culture while obtaining hands-on Procurement and Supply Chain Management experience. Interns will complete various tasks and may work on multiple projects simultaneously, conducting supply chain analyses, internal and external market research, data and process analysis, and supporting digital solutions for efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Frequent interaction with leadership, senior managers, and program alumni is expected. Assignments span the end-to-end global supply chain across multiple asset classes, Corporate, and Business Unit roles, driven by business needs. Prior internship assignments have included Business Intelligence & Data Visualization, Strategic Sourcing, Business Process Improvement, Evaluation and Deployment of Digital Solutions, Performance Benchmarking, and Market Intelligence.

Requirements

  • Talented first-year MBA (Master of Business Administration) or Master’s students who find interest in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.
  • Geographically mobile.
  • Permanent US Work Authorization.
  • Prior interns typically have completed a bachelor's degree in a technical and/or analytical discipline (e.g., engineering, finance, data science, business analytics, etc.) and have 3+ years’ work experience.
  • Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
  • Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
  • Chevron regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited Visa status for this position.
