Requirements

2 - 5 years of proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
The ability to direct and drive personnel towards maximum performance is required.
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Decision-making skills.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Management or Business is a plus.
Forklift equipment experience.

Responsibilities

Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the department, working together with the Department Supervisor & Manager.
Ensuring data accuracy for what is processed by the department.
Cooperating with management on a fluctuating workload that may require changing tasks to focus on priorities.
Inspecting product to ensure all labels are present.
Ensuring all items are documented during the many processes.
Following current Good Manufacturing Practices “cGMPs”.
Keeping the working space clean and organized.
Assisting other departments as needed.
Understanding quality measures and KPI linkage to site results and vision.
Following and meeting team goals set by management.
Delegating tasks and setting deadlines.
Monitoring team performance and reporting on daily metrics.
Motivating team members.
Discovering training needs and providing coaching.
Listening to team members’ feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts.
