Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  • The ability to direct and drive personnel towards maximum performance is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
  • Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Management or Business is a plus.
  • Forklift equipment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the department, working together with the Department Supervisor & Manager.
  • Ensuring data accuracy for what is processed by the department.
  • Cooperating with management on a fluctuating workload that may require changing tasks to focus on priorities.
  • Inspecting product to ensure all labels are present.
  • Ensuring all items are documented during the many processes.
  • Following current Good Manufacturing Practices “cGMPs”.
  • Keeping the working space clean and organized.
  • Assisting other departments as needed.
  • Understanding quality measures and KPI linkage to site results and vision.
  • Following and meeting team goals set by management.
  • Delegating tasks and setting deadlines.
  • Monitoring team performance and reporting on daily metrics.
  • Motivating team members.
  • Discovering training needs and providing coaching.
  • Listening to team members’ feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts.
