Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  • The ability to direct and drive personnel towards maximum performance is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Forklift equipment experience.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
  • Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Management or Business is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the department, working together with the Department Supervisor & Manager.
  • Ensuring data accuracy for what is processed by the department and cooperating with management on a fluctuating workload that may require changing tasks to focus on priorities.
  • Inspect product to ensure all labels are present.
  • Ensuring all items are documented during the many processes.
  • Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices “cGMPs”.
  • Keep the working space clean and organized.
  • Assisting other departments as needed.
  • Understands quality measures and KPI linkage to site results and vision.
  • Follow and meet team goals set by management.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Monitor team performance and report on daily metrics.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
