Requirements

2 - 5 years of proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
The ability to direct and drive personnel towards maximum performance is required.
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics.
Good PC skills, especially MS Excel.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Decision-making skills.
Forklift equipment experience.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV).
Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Management or Business is a plus.

Responsibilities

Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the department, working together with the Department Supervisor & Manager.
Ensuring data accuracy for what is processed by the department and cooperating with management on a fluctuating workload that may require changing tasks to focus on priorities.
Inspect product to ensure all labels are present.
Ensuring all items are documented during the many processes.
Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices “cGMPs”.
Keep the working space clean and organized.
Assisting other departments as needed.
Understands quality measures and KPI linkage to site results and vision.
Follow and meet team goals set by management.
Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
Monitor team performance and report on daily metrics.
Motivate team members.
Discover training needs and provide coaching.
Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
