About The Position

The Supply Chain Intern will support the procurement team in day-to-day operations while gaining hands-on experience in supply chain management. This role provides exposure to demand planning, inventory control, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas; Power BI a plus)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Understanding of basic supply chain concepts (forecasting, inventory management, MRP)
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

Responsibilities

Assist in data analysis and daily reporting related to purchasing metrics, demand forecasts, MRP accuracy and supplier performance
Support purchase order management, including creation, tracking, and follow-ups with vendors
Help monitor inventory health metrics (e.g., turns, stockouts, excess/obsolete inventory)
Participate in demand planning and forecasting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, customer service, sales) to ensure supply continuity
Support process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Maintain accurate data in SAP
