About The Position

The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day Supply Chain functions that directly and indirectly support our Custom Distribution Clients, respected distribution centers, commissaries, or system house. This position is hybrid (3x/week) based out of our Chicago, IL Office with anticipated travel 3-4x per year. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. Requirements

Ability to speak in technical terms to a supply chain audience

Nice To Haves

Preferred 2-4 years experience with either distribution, logistics or supply chain operations
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Logistics is preferred

Responsibilities

Daily proactive and reactive communication regarding daily supply chain issues, shorts, late trucks, inbound delays, redeliveries, and substitutions
Daily tasks of entering PO accuracy, PO reconciliation and accounting discrepancies
Management and analysis of data throughout the supply chain to develop benchmarks (Volume, Quality Claims, Shorts, Delivery Days, Etc.)
Close daily communication with Account Managers, Procurement, Accounting, and Food Safety
Lead the collaboration effort among the customer, account management, and various distribution centers to effectively manage inventory and forecast accurately.
Manage data integrity to facilitate timely and accurate order generation to deliver key business initiatives such as promotions and seasonality.
Conduct supplier partner reviews to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to increase profitability.
Analyze historical data to develop and grow forecasting tools to help all parties involved.
