About The Position

The Supply Chain Associate (SCA) is a collaborative role that acts as the medium between our suppliers and our guests and Fig Bars. We aim to provide a seamless experience for our guests to drive repeat users. Optimizing the distribution of products to Fig Bars to minimize distribution footprints in Fig Bars and impact our bottom line. The Supply Chain Associate will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager, and work cross-functionally with all departments.

Requirements

  • Experience with supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management.
  • Familiarity with logistics and distribution processes.
  • Experience with e-commerce operations, specifically Shopify.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Asana and Slack.
  • Experience with Universal Logistics (UL) is a plus.

  • Experience with CUSMA.
  • Experience with BP Suppliers.
  • Experience with UPS and Canada Post.

Responsibilities

  • Manage freight transportation and receiving to ensure smooth operations.
  • Open and receive all POs in UL, follow up with brands on broken or missing units, and flag missing PO numbers to the appropriate team members.
  • Conduct regular inventory and BP counts across DCs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and park POs for BP and POD products when running low.
  • Routinely verify that comp, tester, sachet, POD, and BP products are not expired and accurately reflected in UL.
  • Prepare, update, and import inventory count sheets for BP and POD across all regions (ON, BC, CA).
  • Maintain an organized and efficient distribution centre with streamlined processes.
  • Organize and put away products in designated DC areas, support large PO and pallet deliveries, apply FFFormulation labels to products in preparation for fulfillment, and maintain overall DC cleanliness and organization.
  • Prepare fulfillment for all Fig Bar locations, ensuring all items are accounted for and accurately reflected on fulfillment sheets.
  • Send fulfillment to Fig Bars via appropriate carriers.
  • Ensure newly arriving POs are opened and incorporated into fulfillment sheets and deliveries.
  • Optimize transfers end to end with precision, including shipping costs and timelines, to avoid ad-hoc transfers.

  • Create shipping labels for ad-hoc orders and team requests.
  • Coordinate intercompany transfers (e.g., ON DC → CA DC).
  • Schedule carrier pickups with UPS and Canada Post.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc deliveries and schedules to meet operational timelines.
  • Process all e-commerce orders through Shopify.
  • Flag and communicate any customer order issues to the Guest Care team in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize and complete facilities-related tasks in a timely manner, including vendor sourcing and procurement.
  • Support FBMs with Fig Bar setup and event-related logistics.
  • Document updates in Asana and Slack and schedule site visits as needed.
  • Prepare gifted and complimentary units per Marketing team requests, including assembling gift cards and packaging.
  • Coordinate pickup logistics with the Marketing team.
  • Manage incoming emails related to facilities, POs, e-commerce, and general operations.
  • Flag and communicate urgent issues or updates to the team promptly.
  • Maintain close relationships with suppliers (Universal Logistics, CUSMA, BP Suppliers) and FBMs to coordinate needs and requests via email, Asana, and Slack.
  • Manage Asana tasks including new hire Experience Appreciation cards.
  • Coordinate with FBMs on new hires and ensure materials are included in fulfillment deliveries.
  • Work cross-functionally with strong cross-channel collaboration using the right resources and technology to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
