About The Position

Pro QC International is seeking a Supplier Quality Auditor for a contract role. The auditor will perform on-site audits at client supplier manufacturing sites, identify risks and potential issues using process audits, and classify findings against ISO 9001 requirements. The role involves communicating findings to the audit team and issuing audit reports promptly. This is a 1099 contractor position with a current project duration of 2 man-days, with potential for variation based on client needs. The work is primarily during regular day shifts, but project schedules may vary based on site availability. The auditor must be able to travel to Monticello, Iowa, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Experience in other critical areas, such as the Berry Amendment, DNAD approvals, and verifying the origin of the textiles/metals requested by the client
• Specialized knowledge of U.S. defense procurement compliance, material origin verification, and component traceability down to the raw material level.
• Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
• Must be able to travel to Monticello, Iowa 52310 and nearby areas

Responsibilities

• Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
• Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
• Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
• Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
