About The Position

Pro QC International is seeking a Supplier Quality Auditor to perform audits at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers. The role involves using process audits to identify risks and potential issues, classifying audit findings against ISO 9001 requirements, and communicating findings to the audit team to issue audit reports on time. This is a 1099 contract role with project durations that may vary based on client needs. Requirements

• Experience in other critical areas, such as the Berry Amendment, DNAD approvals, and verifying the origin of the textiles/metals requested by the client
• Specialized knowledge of U.S. defense procurement compliance, material origin verification, and component traceability down to the raw material level.
• Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
• Must be able to travel to Monticello, Iowa 52310 and nearby areas

Responsibilities

• Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
• Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
• Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
• Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
