About The Position
This is a 1099 contract role for a Supplier Quality Auditor to perform audits at the manufacturing sites of clients' suppliers. The auditor will use process audits to identify risks and potential issues, classify findings against ISO 9001 requirements, and communicate findings to the audit team, issuing audit reports within the due date. The role requires travel to Monticello, Iowa and surrounding areas. Project duration and schedules may vary based on client needs and site availability.
Requirements
- Experience in other critical areas, such as the Berry Amendment, DNAD approvals, and verifying the origin of the textiles/metals requested by the client
- Specialized knowledge of U.S. defense procurement compliance, material origin verification, and component traceability down to the raw material level.
- Require a manufacturing and operations backgrounds: Manufacturing (automotive, aerospace, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, etc.)
- Must be able to travel to Monticello, Iowa 52310 and nearby areas
Responsibilities
- Performing the audit at the manufacturing sites of our clients' suppliers per Pro QC checklists.
- Using the process audit to identify relevant risks and point out potential issues.
- Looking at audit findings and classifying them against the ISO 9001 requirements.
- Communicate findings with the audit team and issue audit report within due day.
