About The Position

The Supervisor supports the store’s leadership team and helps deliver a best-in-class customer experience. Working with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Supervisor leads by example, coaches and develops associates, and supports operational excellence across customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards. The role contributes to store profitability, an inclusive team culture, and overall store success in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires at least one year of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though hands-on experience and demonstrated achievements are valued. The role is part-time or limited-time and is not eligible for all VF Corporation benefits plans. It has a hiring range of $21.40–$28.80 per hour and may be eligible for additional compensation awards, such as an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission.

Requirements

• Skill in coaching, motivating, and building high-performing, diverse teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence across all levels.
• Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and meet business expectations.
• Comfort using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals by monitoring progress against key performance indicators, while also achieving individual goals.
• Model selling behaviors and foster a consumer-centric mindset through authentic customer interactions.
• Coach and develop associates to deliver strong customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members and provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
• Participate in local initiatives and events to promote community engagement.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.
