About The Position

The Supervisor, UM Administration contributes to the administration of utilization management. This role works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems. The Supervisor, UM Administration collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in the selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach. This role provides non-clinical support for policies and procedures, ensuring the best and most appropriate treatment, care, or services for members. Decisions are typically related to schedule, plans, and daily operations. The Supervisor performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, supervises a group of typically support and technical associates, and coordinates and provides day-to-day oversight to associates. This role ensures consistency in execution across the team and holds team members accountable for following established policies.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in a team leadership or supervisory position
  • Ability to provide clear direction and make sound business decisions.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and consistently acts with integrity and ethical behavior.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
  • Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Nice To Haves

  • Must reside in the state of Illinois or a neighboring state for occasional travel to local office.
  • LTSS UM or MCO experience
  • Experience in an operational setting
  • General understanding of economic, financial, and operational concepts
  • Previous supervisory experience in a call center setting
