About The Position

The Supervisor - Table Games is responsible for stimulating business and developing quality players through personal interaction. This role ensures that all Table Games team members provide optimum service to guests, maintaining a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude at all times. The Supervisor is also tasked with ensuring the technical proficiency of team members through guidance and training, observing and analyzing the integrity of play, and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, gaming regulations, and procedures. This position directs, supports, and supervises all Table Games team members, and oversees the operation of the assigned shift in the absence of a Pit Manager. Additionally, the Supervisor assists in hiring and developing team members, manages labor levels, administers performance appraisals, sets expectations, and provides coaching. They mediate and solve problems for team members and guests, establish effective communication lines, identify operational opportunities, and coordinate with support departments. A key aspect of this role involves analyzing guest play to monitor for cheating, scams, advantage play, card counters, and unusual activity, while also monitoring staffing levels for budgetary compliance. Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding financial information, operating systems, policies, marketing plans, and team member/guest information is crucial. The Supervisor must have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotions and ensure the safety and security of guests and team members, complying with all Bally’s Kansas City policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Requirements

  • Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, fax machine, and copy machine.
  • Must be able to work any necessary hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions and reports.
  • Communicate appropriately with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.
  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, gaming regulations, and procedures.
  • Direct, support, and supervise all Table Games team members.
  • Oversee the operation of the assigned shift in the absence of a Pit Manager.
  • Assist in the hiring and development of team members while ensuring an adequate level of labor is used to perform to the required level of service.
  • Understand, administer, and review performance appraisals, set performance expectations, and provide coaching and operational support for Table Games team members.
  • Mediate and solve problems for team members and guests.
  • Establish and maintain effective lines of communication at all times throughout the department.
  • Identify operational and organizational opportunities and work with the Table Games management team to recommend, develop, and implement sound solutions with peer group.
  • Build rapport and coordinate daily activities with support departments.
  • Supervise all activities and team members in Table Games pit.
  • Analyze guests’ play to monitor for cheating scams, advantage play, card counters, and unusual or suspicious variations in play.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information.
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City and department management.
  • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
