About The Position

At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing professionals support high-level planning and world-class care. The Supervisor oversees routine activities of Warehouse/Storeroom staff at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia / Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, aligning supply chain operations with the organization. The role supervises a team responsible for supply chain materials, ensures production requirements are met, and identifies ways to improve handling, storage, and inventory. The Supervisor maintains regulatory and Supply Chain standards, monitors daily stock status, communicates changes to department leaders, evaluates employees, promotes safety, and provides leadership that inspires strong performance.

This is an on-site day-shift position, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., in New York, New York. Employees should live within commuting distance to NYP; travel expenses are not reimbursed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies.
• Basic knowledge of Lawson and spreadsheet applications.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of a similar inventory control system.
