About The Position
The Supervisor, Sterile Processing is responsible for the sterile processing function of the Sterile Processing Department. The role maintains and provides an adequate supply of sterilized products for the operating room, nursing units, and other departments, and oversees and evaluates the performance of all support positions in the department. The position is based in Elmhurst, Illinois, is full time at 40 hours per week, and works from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CBSPD or HSPA certification required.
- Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing Certification within six months of accepting the position.
- Three years of experience in sterile processing, including one year of supervisory experience.
- The posting also lists five years of experience in sterile processing.
