Sterile Processing Supervisor FT Evenings
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Supervisor for its Sterile Processing Department in New Albany, Indiana, in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The supervisor ensures surgical instruments are properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed, and tracked throughout the hospital in an accurate and timely manner. The role works independently with little supervision and serves as a resource for Sterile Processing staff and customers. The schedule is five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. This opportunity is with a regional, nonprofit community hospital and offers an excellent working environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of sterile processing experience.
- Certification from any combination of the two organizations HSPA or CBSPD.
Responsibilities
