The Scheduling Supervisor oversees all aspects of scheduling and coordinating specialty care services for PACE Participants. This includes supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating the work performance of Scheduling Coordinators and Transportation Coordinators at the assigned site. Additionally, the individual in this role ensures that the team's ready-to-schedule work queues are managed and that the end-to-end standard scheduling workflows and standard operating procedures are followed per regulatory standards and company policies. The Scheduling Supervisor oversees daily scheduling functions, ensuring the efficient processing of pre-authorization requests and approved referrals. This role also includes supervising the coordination of daily specialty appointments, including daily transportation requirements, and identifying barriers to scheduling specialty appointments and completing scheduled visits. The position demands strong organizational and leadership skills to handle various supervisory duties. Key responsibilities include training direct reports and support staff, reviewing productivity performance metrics, assessing annual competencies of staff, and ensuring staff adherence to standard processes designed to deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable specialty care services.
