About The Position

The Scheduler Supervisor – PRN Float Pool oversees the coordination and deployment of PRN Registered Nurses across all HopeWest departments and service areas to ensure consistent and timely staffing coverage. This role serves as the central point of contact for PRN RN availability, assignment coordination, and timekeeping accuracy. The Scheduler Supervisor partners with department leaders to support equitable staffing practices and acts as a liaison between the PRN Float Pool, departmental managers, and the After Hours and Access leadership team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in healthcare scheduling, staffing coordination, or related operations required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare staffing models and registered nurse scope of practice.
  • Proficiency in scheduling systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic reporting or data-tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in a healthcare-related field preferred, or equivalent experience in healthcare operations or scheduling.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
