About The Position

This Supervisor, US Finance - RGM is responsible for partnering with US Marketing in assessing strategic opportunities and executing Mass Offers & Promotions. In addition, the Supervisor, US Finance - RGM builds the business case and performs the post analysis of these initiatives, partnering closely with US Marketing on strategy and reporting on the business case and performance to US SLT and key O/O leadership groups. Additionally, this role will analyze the short-term (tactic level) and long-term (baseline / value perception impact) of these strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics, Math preferred
  • 2+ Years Experience required
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in working with analytical teams and translating outputs into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of pricing and promotion dynamics, multi-tier pricing environment, long term impact of pricing decisions
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Experience working with Tableau and/or other data visualization

Responsibilities

  • Support tactic/initiative business case development and post reporting for all National Mass Offers (e.g. Flash offers) & Deals (e.g. Long-term and short-term promotions). Additionally, analyze longer term impacts from activation of the lever (e.g. baseline, value performance.
  • Supports setting of National & Local Promotion & Deal recommendations
  • Evaluates local strategies, supports financial assessment/data sharing across markets, and ensures strategic objectives are being met
  • Digital and other channel-specific Business Case support (in partnership with Business owner from Marketing)
  • Support RGM partnerships with Business Insights, Finance and other partners including use of local reporting tools in future local projection cycles
  • Ensuring local planning and promotion tools are appropriately populated/functioning to provide reporting/insights to drive recommendations
  • Evaluate return on mass promo spend (including local), and work with cross lever lead to set guidelines
  • Supports various Owner/Operator Committees including Digital, Value and Economics
