About The Position

Coordinates assignments of Respiratory Care Staff. Provides supervision of staff in the absence of the Coordinator/Director. Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA accredited respiratory care program
• 1 year of respiratory care experience
• RCP or equivalent State licensure
• CRT
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• AHA PALS
• AHA NRP

Responsibilities

• Supervises, to include discipline, supports and coaches staff in absence of Director
• Responds proactively to employee needs
• Makes rounds to adequately maintain patient equipment
• Therapeutic listings
• Reports identified unusual patient conditions/reactions to immediate supervisor
• Performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment
