About The Position

The Supervisor Production is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. The role requires an understanding of and control over the production process, accurate record keeping, general line maintenance, and staffing. It oversees production operations, safety and quality practices, inventory, and Team Member support and leadership. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to supervise a group of personnel performing somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
Ensure every position is filled before the production line starts.
Oversee Team Member exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
Ensure machinery performs to the highest standard possible.
Ensure all workstations pass USDA inspection.
Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and proper product coding.
Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
Encourage Team Members and support team building.
Train, retain, and counsel Team Members on personal and professional problems.
Oversee processing operations and work with other supervisors to solve problems.
Keep records of reworked or returned product.
Provide continuing education on the importance of quality.
Perform other responsibilities as needed.
