About The Position

The Supervisor Production is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. The role requires an understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, general line maintenance, and staffing. The supervisor oversees processing operations and works with other supervisors to solve problems. They also perform other responsibilities as needed. The position includes human-relations responsibilities such as training, retaining, encouraging, and counseling Team Members on personal and professional problems. It also involves communicating company benefits and compensation policies and providing continuous education on quality.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to supervise a group of personnel performing somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsible use of approved AI tools, including protecting sensitive information, following company policies, and validating AI-generated outputs.
As a people leader, ability to drive responsible AI adoption, enable effective use of approved solutions, identify opportunities to improve team performance through AI, and ensure accountability for the quality and accuracy of AI-supported outcomes.

Responsibilities

Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
Ensure every position is staffed before the production line starts.
Oversee Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
Ensure machinery performs to the highest standard possible.
Ensure workstations pass USDA inspection.
Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding.
Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
Encourage Team Members and build an effective team.
Train, retain, and counsel Team Members on personal and professional problems.
Oversee processing operations and work with other supervisors to solve problems.
Keep records of reworked or returned product.
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality.
Perform other responsibilities as needed.
