About The Position

The Supervisor of Perioperative Materials Management is responsible for leadership and supervision of the daily function of Perioperative Materials Management (PMM). This position will develop and implement, under the direction of the Perioperative Business Operations Manager, process improvements in Perioperative Materials Management to provide high quality and cost-effective services to stakeholders while maximizing productivity within Perioperative Materials Management. They will also effectively work with clinical leadership in addressing concerns and questions regarding materials management areas. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors, and associates regardless of spiritual or cultural background.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Expert knowledge of perioperative instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS)
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to input and analyze data in decision making.
  • Experience in project management
  • 4 years of related experience including receiving and distribution of products, completion of cycle count and inventory control functions and daily human resource responsibilities.
  • Two years of experience in leading a team in daily activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Supply Chain/Sterile Processing/OR experience preferred.
