About The Position

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a highly engaged Supervisor with Call Center experience who thrives under pressure with the ability to prioritize daily tasks and working knowledge of performance metrics. The Centralized Scheduling Supervisor provides front-line leadership and operational oversight for a centralized call center scheduling team. This role is accountable for staff performance, coaching, and scheduling accuracy while ensuring efficient workflows and achievement of performance targets that support timely patient access to services. The supervisor fosters a culture of engagement, belonging, and continuous improvement to deliver a seamless patient and employee experience. This leader is a champion of change and builds collaborative partnerships with medical practice teams and internal/external support partners contributing to the success of the team and patient experience at Overlake. Work situations require flexibility, strong leadership, organization, prioritization, good judgment, and independent decision-making and discretion to sensitive situations. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Centralized Scheduling Manager. External contacts include patients, physician offices, and insurance companies. Internal contacts consist of all staff and management throughout Overlake Hospital facilities.

Requirements

  • Associates degree is required. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or supervisory role required.
  • Skilled in working with a highly computerized environment utilizing complex workflows required.
  • Strong organization, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Fast-paced work environment requires the ability to conduct several projects simultaneously and maintain stability in the department.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience in scheduling operations/functions or call center experience preferred.
  • Epic/Radiant experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of imaging modalities preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products preferred.
