About The Position

Supervisor of Women's Health Center is responsible to plan, organize, staff, direct and insure collaborative multidisciplinary patient care delivery. The Center Supervisor/Manager functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiology, required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Mammography required
  • Valid State of Ohio Radiologic License required
  • Three years experience as a staff mammographer required.

  • Ability to manage change.
  • Demonstrates ability to assess, develop and mentor a patient care team.
  • BLS healthcare provider training required.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple work/business sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Baccalaureate degree in Radiology Technology preferred.
  • Additional credentialing in Breast Sonography ARDMS (BR), or -ARRT(BR)
  • Three years experience in a healthcare operations supervisory position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides coaching, direction, and supervision for the imaging center(s) for all staff members with complete accountability for operations
  • Recruits, develops, counsels, evaluates and retains staff within appropriate HR policies and guidelines.
  • Demonstrates appropriate clinical competencies.
  • Directs the planning and implementation of Center education/training which promotes professional competence and personal growth and ensures optimal patient care.
  • Direct all quality monitoring for the Center, focusing on optimal patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement program for Center services.
  • Ensures compliance with all imaging regulatory standards (ODH, MQSA, ACR).
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments/service lines, physicians and staff.
  • Ensures communication channels result in optimal Center function.
  • Collaborates effectively with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitors and ensures optimal levels of patient, staff and physician satisfaction and patient expectation/ service levels.
  • Identifies and develops new programs/services in response to patient, physician, organization and /or community needs.
