The Supervisor of Fleet Maintenance is responsible for the day-to-day execution of shop activities to ensure maximum fleet uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role involves work planning and scheduling, supervising technicians, quality control of repairs, execution of the PM program, cost control for parts, and maintaining the integrity of maintenance documentation. The Supervisor ensures all refuse collection vehicles are maintained according to OEM standards, company policies, and FMCSA/DOT requirements, acting as a frontline leader to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective fleet performance to Operations.
