About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a part-time Supervisor, Patient Care Services for the 4 East Med-Surgical unit. The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services plays a key leadership role in the department, supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their unit. They are responsible for ensuring high standards of care, coordinating daily nursing activities, and facilitating communication between medical teams. Assists with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.

Requirements

Bachelors degree – Nursing
Registered Nurse License
2 years of nursing experience
1 year of nursing leadership

Responsibilities

Supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their unit
Ensuring high standards of care
Coordinating daily nursing activities
Facilitating communication between medical teams
Assists with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
