About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a part-time Supervisor, Patient Care Services for the 4 East Med-Surgical unit. This role is a key leadership position within the department, supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their unit. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring high standards of care, coordinating daily nursing activities, and facilitating communication between medical teams. They also assist with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.

Requirements

Bachelors degree – Nursing
Registered Nurse License
2 years of nursing experience
1 year of nursing leadership

Responsibilities

Supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their unit
Ensuring high standards of care
Coordinating daily nursing activities
Facilitating communication between medical teams
Assisting with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff
