  • Experience with the first-article inspection process per AS9102.
  • Lean or Six Sigma training.

Responsibilities

  • Assign work and maximize throughput across the departments.
  • Analyze customer blueprints, 3D models, and specifications to assess manufacturability and develop time and material estimates for quotes.
  • Develop and update manufacturing router sequences, bills of materials, and work centers for new and existing product lines; determine estimated setup and cycle times to maintain accurate ERP data.
  • Select tooling, fixturing, and machine allocation based on material and part geometry for machining operations.
  • Collaborate with customers and Production and Quality teams to apply Design for Manufacturability principles and identify efficient manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • Support AS9100 compliance and organize the machine shop, priorities, and workflow to meet customer requirements.
  • Program CNC mill and lathe operations using Mastercam or Fusion 360, primarily for new customer requests and based on customer blueprints and 3D models.
