Pay Type: Salaried Exempt / Paid Bi-Monthly
Target Salary: $83,000 to $88,000 based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Flexibility needed to work additional days and hours as necessary to meet business needs
Experienced in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing conveyor systems, power distribution systems, and facility mechanical components to ensure continuous and efficient operations. Skilled in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders. Adept at maintaining physical plant equipment, powered industrial equipment, and conveyance systems while promptly identifying and resolving operational issues. Serves as the primary point of contact for vendors and suppliers, coordinating maintenance activities, managing service needs, and ensuring facility systems remain safe, reliable, and fully operational.

Requirements

• Experienced in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing conveyor systems, power distribution systems, and facility mechanical components to ensure continuous and efficient operations.
• Skilled in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders.
• Adept at maintaining physical plant equipment, powered industrial equipment, and conveyance systems while promptly identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for vendors and suppliers, coordinating maintenance activities, managing service needs, and ensuring facility systems remain safe, reliable, and fully operational.
• Operate in accordance with OSHA and other applicable standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced operating environment.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• H.S. Diploma/GED.
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Federal and state transportation regulations.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year or more in experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operations of the maintenance work team to achieve objectives.
• Monitor and document performance to recommend promotions, wage increases and terminations.
• Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, and disciplining subordinates.
• Implement and document an appropriate performance evaluation for recommending promotions, wage increases, and terminations.
• Track building and equipment repair.
• Monitor all material handling equipment maintenance activities, making certain that equipment is serviced as required.
• Tour warehouse on a regular basis to ensure buildings and equipment are safe and ready to operate.
• Purchase parts, supplies and fuel necessary to perform required maintenance.
• Maintain a cost effective parts replacement program and inventory.
• Make recommendations to senior management on programs to improve maintenance function.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in warehouse operations and ensure the maximum useful life of the equipment.
• Negotiate, follow up and enforce maintenance contracts with outside vendors.
• Provide vehicles, buildings, company grounds and general maintenance service as needed.
• Monitor security systems and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.
