Job Summary We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems. In this role, you'll lead a team of maintenance professionals, drive equipment uptime, support production goals, and help create a safe, high-performing work environment through strong leadership and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will lead maintenance support across Plasma, Heat Treat, Machine Shop, and HVPA operations. Location: On-Site, Orangeburg, NY Shift: Monday-Friday with rotating weekend coverage, typically one weekend per month, with on-site support Saturday and on-call support Sunday

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, equipment repair, and facility systems
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills
  • Experience managing maintenance priorities in a fast-paced production environment
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance-related systems
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred
  • Electrical or mechanical maintenance certifications
  • Aerospace manufacturing or industrial production experience
  • Forklift and Manlift certifications
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and equipment service providers
  • Familiarity with hazardous waste management and environmental compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and production uptime
  • Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign maintenance work to support operational needs
  • Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot and support repairs of production equipment and facility systems
  • Order parts, materials, and supplies to support maintenance operations
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and other teams to meet business objectives
  • Manage hazardous materials and wastewater processes in compliance with regulations
  • Support emergency response activities and equipment-related escalations
  • Conduct employee performance reviews, training, and development activities
  • Promote a safe, organized workplace and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and maintenance standards
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and external service providers
