About The Position

The Therapy Services Supervisor ensures that patient care meets quality standards, runs smoothly, and addresses each individual patient’s needs accurately. This role supports clinical staff in determining therapy needs for each patient, monitors productivity, coordinates inventory and supply needs, and tracks data. The supervisor will also assist with the coordination of department procedures and processes, interact with other therapy departments and outside referral sources, and assist with interviewing and making recommendations for new hires. Additionally, this role involves auditing current care and practice to achieve high-quality patient care outcomes, monitoring cost accounting, productivity and charging systems for assigned areas, and participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of age-appropriate standards of care. The supervisor will investigate, evaluate, and resolve customer concerns and keep management informed of significant developments. Communication with patients, family members, or other support, and documentation of understanding of treatment plans and goals are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Occupational therapy or Speech therapy
  • Master's Degree Physical Therapy Occupational therapy or Speech therapy
  • 3 years Clinical experience
  • 2 years Leadership experience
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association
  • Physical Therapist (PT) - State Licensing Board
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) - State Licensing Board
  • Speech Pathologist (SPE) - State Licensing Board
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - ASHA (American Speech-Lanuage-Hearing Association) for Speech Language Pathologists
  • Certified as required by specialization
